Zweigelt, Nechory Winery
"This wine represents a harmonious blend of a traditional variety with a modern approach to vinification. Its distinctive structure and rich bouquet make it an excellent choice for both festive occasions and longer aging."
Product detailed description
For the production of this wine, grapes from a strictly reduced harvest were used, ripened in the wine-growing village of Josefov. Thanks to the exceptional vintage of 2021, the grapes reached a sugar content of 24.2 °NM and retained their fruity character.
Serving Recommendations
Serve at 15–16 °C in a large Bordeaux-style red wine glass, which allows the full aromatic spectrum to develop. For an even better experience, we recommend decanting for at least 60 minutes before serving.
Food Pairing
This wine is recommended with gently spiced meats, game such as pheasant or confit duck, and premium hard cheeses.
Cellaring
This wine has excellent ageing potential and, with proper storage, can develop its qualities for 8–10 years.
