Pinot Noir, Johannis Winery
"A great example of blending traditional vinification with a modern approach to wine aging. It boasts depth and structure, making it ideal for immediate consumption as well as further bottle aging."
Product detailed description
A more rustic Pinot Noir that reflects the character of the winery and the terroir. Grapes from vines at least 7 years old were carefully selected, and the wine was then aged in barrique barrels, which imparts depth and balance.
Serving Recommendations
Serve at 14–16 °C in a Burgundy-style red wine glass, which will highlight its delicate bouquet. We recommend decanting for 30 minutes before serving.
Food Pairing
Suitable for roast meats, game, beef carpaccio, and semi-hard cheeses.
Cellaring
With proper storage, the wine has an ageing potential of 4–5 years.
