Product detailed description
The grapes for this wine were grown in the Židlíky vineyard near Nechory. A gentle east-facing slope extends the ripening period compared to other sites, resulting in red wines with a very fruity and multi-layered aromatic profile. The combination of loess subsoil and heavier topsoil imparts power and fullness to the wines.
Serving Recommendations
Serve at 15–16 °C in a large Bordeaux-style red wine glass (hand-blown by Květná glassworks) to allow the full aromatic spectrum to unfold. For an even better experience, we recommend decanting for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs excellently with pink and red meats, game, and pâtés.
Cellaring
With proper storage, the wine is suitable for cellaring for 9–10 years.

Vinification and Ageing
| Harvest: | Crop reduction in combination with a very low yield per vine (about 1–1.5 kg/vine) and precise green work enabled the achievement of beautifully ripe grapes. |

Aged in French oak barrique barrels for 16 months (30% new barrels, 70% second and third use barrels). |
