Complex, robust red wine with a pronounced character, crafted as a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot. The wine matured in a new barrique barrel, which accentuates its structure and rich aromatics.
Serving Recommendation
Serve at 16–18 °C in a large Bordeaux glass, which will highlight its rich aroma and flavor. We recommend decanting for at least 60 minutes before serving.
Food Pairing
Excellent with roasted lamb, beef steaks, game, and also with matured cheeses such as Gruyère or Comté.
Cellaring
This wine has excellent ageing potential and, if properly cellared, can further develop over 7–9 years.
